FirePortal has met the technical requirements of NERIS, the National Emergency Response Information System that replaces NFIRS, and is an approved vendor for data exchange.
Write the incident report in FirePortal and it goes to NERIS from there. Your stations and apparatus are sent too, so there is nothing to enter twice. It's optional, and you turn it on when your department is ready.
